About
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the BioProcess Engineering Group at IIM-CSIC. My research is centered in the modeling of complex systems, with a focus on Systems Biology problems. More specifically, my goal is to improve current methodologies for systems identification of large-scale biological models, drawing inspiration from optimization techniques and systems & control theory.
Before moving to the systems biology field, I studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Vigo and received a PhD in Systems & Control in 2009. My early research interests were related to robotics: teleoperation, haptics, passive systems, and reset control.
